Advice for wheelchair users

We try to ensure that the facilities at Wimbledon are accessible to all our visitors with a disability, but negotiating the large Wimbledon site may be physically challenging and we recommend that wheelchair users attend The Championships with an able-bodied companion.

Buying tickets on the day of play

Disabled visitors with mobility impairments, who intend to buy tickets on the day of play are advised to telephone the Ticket Office (020 8971 2473) for further details on queueing and car parking arrangements.

Please note, the car/coach parks are outside the Grounds and the route to the gates may be across uneven grassed surfaces.

Viewing areas for wheelchair users

In order to meet local authority safety requirements and to ensure the effectiveness of any emergency evacuation, wheelchair users may ONLY occupy designated wheelchair areas. If you would prefer to bring a wheelchair and you have tickets for a show court, please check that these clearly indicate that your seats are in an area which accommodates wheelchairs. If not, you will be asked to leave the wheelchair in a designated area (please ask a member of staff for details) and then access your seat by the stairs or a lift, if available.

There are reserved spaces for wheelchair users (ticket holders only) on Centre Court at the south end via Gangway 101, at the north end via Gangway 109 between Gangway 206 and 207 and at Level 5 via lifts at the south-east and north-west of the stadium.
